ive had writers block for the longest time. help?
i love to write songs but i just havent been able to put anything good out there.
if you give me some good song topics of ideas
i’ll write it and post the song everywhere for people to hear.

Most of the successful songs appeal to some emotion. To get past the writer’s block, your best bet would be to take your own emotions about particular things and put that down. Make it how you feel about a favorite friend, or how a teacher inspired you, or how you felt the first time you fell in love. The possibilities are endless, but if you can relate some emotion behind it, it’ll make it easier for you to really put more into the song.

Look inside yourself. Your own experiences are the best to draw from. Remember the time your heart was broken? How you felt? Write about that.
