Is Fantasy included in General Fiction?
I’ve written a fantasy novel and have been looking through the writers and artists yearbook for agents. If they say they handle ‘general fiction’ and don’t say ‘no fantasy or sci-fi’ then is it worth submitting to them or will they instantly discard it because it’s fantasy?

Yes, that would come under general fiction. I deal mostly in Science Fiction and have had the problem a few times.

I would try looking for a Science Fiction and Fantasy publisher before attempting General Fiction.
Normally general fiction includes short stories or novels that don’t really fit into any of the other categories - such as historical fiction or science fiction.
