Is Creative Writing the right college major for me? Colleges?
I know this is a tough question to answer (especially since you don’t know me), but please offer any advice you can.
I love to read fiction and fantasy stories. I also enjoy writing satire. This makes me believe that Creative Writing could be the major for me: Does this sound right?
Could anyone recommend any good colleges for Creative Writing in the Northwest US or Pennsylvania area?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to look more into JOBS for your particular degree. Especially with the economy being in shambles it is very important that you know what job you want after college. Do you want to be a writing professor or English teacher? Those two jobs might be great for you – especially because education, government, and medical jobs are the only ones that haven’t lost too many employees.
Otherwise there’s not much you can do with creative writing. You could be an author but you don’t need a degree for that. You could write for a newspaper but it’s very hard to get a good paying job and you should probably get a different degree for that.
