Is a novel normally about 50,000 words long?
I am participating in the challenge at http://ywp.nanowrimo.org and am going for 50,000 words…just wondering if a normal novel is 50,000 words long, or shorter, or longer…anyway, thanks in advance! 
Ah, actually I am just now at 513 words, haha, but I just learned about it last night. I will raise my goal, then! I think it would be absolutely fabulous to write my entire rough draft of my book in one month. Thanks so much for the quick answers. What is your NaNoWrimo username? I’d like to be your buddy.
