interesting ways to write a historical fiction?
I have to write a short american historical fiction story based on freedom, but i want it to be interesting, like coming from two people’s points of view or something. I don’t have a plot line or anything yet, so any ideas are welcome!

I would start with your favorite historical theme. Imagine yourself living during that time. What were the obstacles the common person faced and the living conditions.
You could develope a hero/heroine that overcame the odds to rise above the situation and how they negtioated their journey from point A to point B.
As far as a two person POV, you could create two characters that shared the same location, but went on different paths and why.
