I ****?t to start writing a novel, ****? I can’t ***?em to get inspired?

What helps with writer’s block??
I have a subject, the characters, the ***.e, ****? every ***?me I write, I feel like I’m not going anywhere. I immediately delete what I’ve written (bad move, I know, ****? I can’t help it), and re-write, and re-write, ****? I can’t find a starting point that I’m happy with. I feel like I’m going insane.

dim the lights, get out some candles, get yourself a mocha, fluffy ***?ncil and vanilla scented lotion.

  2. berrygirl Says:

maybe check out and take a little bit of inspiration from there and then base your novel on that.

  3. Jesi Says:

Write out a whole ****?k and change the names and a few ***?ntence structures.

    The ****?k is yours.

Go for a walk to clear your mind. Pay attention to the things around you. The simplest thing could lead to your great novel. Take a notebook or notepad with you to write down everything that catches your eye. You could even listen to music while you walk, a song lyric could become a line in your novel.

  5. MiMi Says:

A ****?d night’s sleep might help. Honestly! When you begin to dream about something make sure you have a small notebook and ***?n next to your bed. Jot down everything you remember about your dream .. then when you get ready to write the next morning (or the next ***?me you are able to) you will have notes right in front of you. ****?d luck on your novel!

Go out some more. Base it on a real event, like the Iraq War or some other past event. Or just observe ***?ople and find an interesting one. Write about him or her. Inspiration is everywhere, you just have to know how to ***?e it.

Writer’s Digest ****?ks has a lot of ****?ks on brainstorming ideas for stories.
Or write thinly veiled story about yourself.
Or write thinly veiled story about ***?ople you know. Then get a lawyer because they might sue.
Or write about a wish or ***?ntasy of yours that comes true, even if it were highly unlikely in real life.
Lie! Write about yourself and lie a lot about it. It worked for that Million Little Pieces guy.
Rewrite a centuries old story in a modern ***?tting.

solitary, tranquil envoiroment with plenty of nature’s beauty will be an starter for u I bet.

  9. Bop Says:

biking, swimming laps or other repetitetive sports gets me inspired because that all u can think about!!! try it!

Ok, I’ve said this to many ***?ople, and it is the best advice I can give. Some think that I’m crazy when I say it ****?…writers know what I am talking about.

First of all, you can’t sit and say ‘I’m going to write a novel’, it simply does not work that way. Try instead saying, ‘I am going to write’, this way you are not ***?tting a quantity. ALWAYS focus on quality.

Next, writing is not something that you can do alone. It is a social practice. Now I don’t mean that you should go out and talk to ***?ople, no, I say that your characters talk to you. Do not try to ’summon’ the ideas. This will only make the characters angry, how would you like it if someone made you do whatever they ****?ted you to?? Your story will probably end up ****?rible if you do this.
All writers get writers block at some point. I like to think of my mind ***? a bus. When there is block, the bus is broken down. The characters can’t get to me.There are some things you can try to do to get the bus back in ***?rvice, ****? it doesn’t work for everyone.
I turn on music, a ****?d ***?p of tea (caffeinated) usually helps. If you like dogs, or cats, ***?rl up with one, for some reason they help. The last thing you can try is sleep.

    Good Luck! Happy Writing!!

You and me both! I ****?ted to learn to paint too. I guess just start and keep it all together and ****?anized. Just do it!!!! Once you start, the motivation will come, Promise!!

  12. Human Spider Says:

Create a name for a character. Then give the character a problem. ****?ks are always about ***?ople (or animals for children) solving problems. If you come up with a ****?d or even half ****?d problem, that should be all you need. Just write about how they react to and solve the problem(s).

  13. Jera Says:

Why do you “want” to start writing a novel? What is the drive behind that “want”? What helps with writer’s block depends on the nature of your block… Are you blocked because you just ****?t to write ****? don’t have a subject? Or do you have a subject, ****? just can’t get started? No one can really pose a meaningful remedy until you make the nature of the problem clear.

  14. turkeyboy777 Says:

watch movies, read ****?ks, play video ***?mes with ****?d story’s, (for example the final ***?ntasy ***?mes are known for great story’s) listen to music lyrics, Inspiration can come from anywhere, think of what kind of novel you ****?t to make and find stuff like what you ****?t to make. say you ****?t to make a romance novel, watch some of the great romantic films like ***.nic or phantom of the opera. or say you ****?t to make a mystery/adventure novel play kingdom hearts or halo

    good luck

Step back from your computer and write all your “beginnings” on paper. I find that when I’m stuck writing in a comp program, that just writing long hand makes all the difference.
