The Christmas Shoes, I didnt expect to be good but turned out to be really touching.

Visions of Sugar Plums by Janet Evonavich…Did you read that one. I love Stephanie Plum series and the Full series and everything else that Janet has written. I am such a huge fan.

Also a Christmas Carroll” The day My life Changed for ever! and one of the most FAMOUS” On a Christmas Morning

Blue Christmas by Mary Kay Andrews -a little romance, a lot of humor and plenty of ideas about christmas decorations.

I love Christmas, too, and Christmas stories. I agree with A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens (my family and I read it every year) and The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere (she followed that by The Christmas Blessing, The Christmas Hope and The Christmas Promise).

    You may also enjoy:
-The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans
-Finding Noel by Richard Paul Evans
-The Christmas Wish by Richard Siddoway
-Skipping Christmas by John Grisham (reasonably cute)
-Christmas with Anne and Other Holiday Stories by Lucy Maud Montgomery
-the Christmas in My Heart series compiled by Joe Wheeler (there are quite a number of these and they are filled with wonderful stories, some humorous, some very touching)
-The Romance of a Christmas Card by Kate Douglas Wiggin
-The Birds’ Christmas Carol by Kate Douglas Wiggin
    -Christmas Jars by Jason Wright
-The Christmas Bus by Melody Carlson

There are also many others, for instance a bunch of Regency Romance Christmas novels and romance anthologies centered around Christmas. There are even some mysteries set at Christmas. If you put “Christmas” as the search under Fiction and Literature at Amazon, you get an entire list back=&field-title=&field-isbn=&field-publisher=&node=17&url=&field-feature_browse-bin=&field-binding_browse-bin=&field-subject=&field-language=&field-dateop=&field-datemod=&field-dateyear=&sort=relevancerank&Adv-Srch-Books-Submit.x=45&Adv-Srch-Books-Submit.y=16 – I usually do that when searching for ever more Christmas stories.

As far as Janet Evanovich is concerned, this site has a list of Janet Evanovich readalikes. That may help you to find some others you enjoy. I’m not sure that they are all as good as the Stephanie Plum series, but the list tells why some of them are being equated to her writing.

    I hope this helps.

I really liked The Christmas Shoes by Donna VanLiere, and its sequel, The Christmas Blessing. I also liked The Christmas Box and Finding Noel, both written by Richard Paul Evans.
