Maybe listen to music? That seems to work a lot? And take a break every 15- 20 minutes. Your mind needs time to adjust to whats happening. Also, it'll help you think of new ideas. Hope this helps. Print a copy and BURN IT! dance in the ashes. Go inside and eat cookies. Smile! Later at night think of yourself being the character. what would you do...or wish you could do. Let the story play out in your mind. Don't type anything. THen when your story is coming alive in your mind, jot it all down before you forget. Don't waste time organizing complete sentences. Just type key words like....Kiss.... RIP..... Dinner.... Murder...Fox.... Then, put it all together. Now, young grasshopper... you are ready. Often it's the expectation that what we write be halfway good that stops us. If you let yourself write out your lost work, even if it's pretty bad, then you've got something you can edit or rewrite. However, if you simply lack enthusiasm, then you're not really blocked, just lost your interest, in which case making yourself write, or letting it be awful, is a waste of your time.
