I have writers block,sort of?

I wrote my prologue already, but lost it and my first chapter when I cleaned my PC.

However,I’m having a hard time writing it again.

I know what to write, but I can’t seem to get my body to type it out.

How do I confront these feelings I get sometimes?
No,I want to write,it’s just I can’t seem to!

Must..Write..

Grrrr..
I shall try again!

Sometimes writing it the second time enriches the content. Re-track your original inspiration, remove interruption and just let the words flow.

Give yourself permission to write garbage. Often it’s the expectation that what we write be halfway good that stops us. If you let yourself write out your lost work, even if it’s pretty bad, then you’ve got something you can edit or rewrite.

However, if you simply lack enthusiasm, then you’re not really blocked, just lost your interest, in which case making yourself write, or letting it be awful, is a waste of your time.

I have found not to fight the feelings is best for me. If I am not feeling inspired then why should I create less than inspired work? Step away from a bit and relax. Come back and you will have a new burst of creativity before you can realize. I’m not a writer but I make music.

get a peace of paper, some colourfull… tools, and make a mess. draw or paint or whatever, do anything you want. then try to write what each thing on the paper looks like, if you can see an elephant, write elephant. you should do this often and stick the pictures on your wall or keep them somewhere, when i look back i usually find a spark of brilliance.

Type up a sloppy copy…doesn’t matter how good or bad it is. Print a copy and BURN IT! dance in the ashes.
Go inside and eat cookies. Smile!
Later at night think of yourself being the character. what would you do…or wish you could do. Let the story play out in your mind. Don’t type anything. THen when your story is coming alive in your mind, jot it all down before you forget. Don’t waste time organizing complete sentences. Just type key words like….Kiss…. RIP….. Dinner…. Murder…Fox….
Then, put it all together. Now, young grasshopper… you are ready.

Try doing something you like while you write it. Maybe listen to music? That seems to work a lot? And take a break every 15- 20 minutes. Your mind needs time to adjust to whats happening. Also, it’ll help you think of new ideas. Hope this helps.

I think you should just start writing. if you are stuck about that subject just start on something else. You did a good job explaining it
