I have to write a 12 page story in creative writing?
I have to write a twelve page story in creative writing and i can’t think of anything to write about that would last 12 pages, could you please help me?

what would it be about?
do you handle the 1st or the 3rd person better?
if the first question has no answer, what do you enjoy reading/writing?
give more details and i’ll come back with an answer.
EDIT: don’t put any magic in it. don’t put alot of description, and if you do (it’s understandable, you have to write 12 pages, don’t block the story with it). and don’t let love be involved. no vampires. Now, let me think of a quick plot. the main character is going to be a girl, and you are going to be a 3rd person narrator, concentrating on her actions and her toughts. anything bizzare can infiltrate your story, any weird type of writing, that’s how people become classics.

it’s really hard thinking of a good plot right now, i’d better just give you some characters.
Her dad is a writer, he keeps working 8 hours a day, plays the piano just for fun, always tormenting her with Pachelbel’s Canon in D :).. her mother is a landscape artist, so everywhere you look there are plants, and her garden is the only garden in the neighbourhood where she can’t play american footbal(or whatever you guys play). Her mother isn’t at home most of the time, and her dad is too busy to notice her, althou they both love her.
Her friend Maria is Spanish and has moved recently to whatever country the action takes place. She loves skateboarding and gets along with most of the guys, but she’s not a Tom-boy. Her other friend, Steve, is an aspiring writer, a bit feminine, and uses alot of self-humour(if you can pull that out), so she feels comfortable talking to him..
well that sounds good, for now. i’ve got to run to school, but i’ll come back with a plot if i can think of it.
EDIT2: I’m sorry I couldn’t come up with a plot, I have a few exams this week, and no time to brainstorm. What you have to do is choose a big theme in literature for eg: love. and some smaller themese for eg: racism, death, departure, game.. anything you want. and start building a story with the characters I gave you (if you like them). That’s all I can do for you, good luck!

A girl is mysteriously doing things involunarily, and it’s because a ghost has taken contol of her body. The spirit takes her to somewhere, and it’s there where the girl figures out who it is that has possesed her, and learns the identity of the killer. The killer then tries to kill the girl, and then the killer dies.

think of the start of an adventure story, a.g. climbing a mountain, at sea in a storm, shipwreckd on an island, & write 6 chapters of 2 pages each.

think about something that has affected your life, or somebody’s life whose close to you an dbase it around that. that way, you’ll know the details and won’t have to think of things off the top of your head.
