I am writing a paper on the indie film indusry, I have writers block.any ideas? help?
I love indie films and I thought it would be an easy paper but I am stuck. I just want to wrte about all aspects of the industry. I just need some ideas to get unstuck

You could write about:
- some well-known actors or filmmakers who started out indie or who contribute to the indie scene
- how indie films are made
- how indie films get “out there” to the public (sundance, cannes, etc)
- different genres of indies (horror, obscure drama, etc)

Part of your problem is that you want to write about all aspects of the industry. It’s fine to make mention of various pieces in a smaller regard, but you need a central theme, or focus. Try jotting down ideas for specifics to focus on in your paper; topic sentences- statements. Then from each sentence write down a few different things you could talk about with relation to backing up each of the statements. Whichever one topic seems like it might be most interesting to you and your reader, and might be something you could speak more about, go with it!

Research Bruce Campbell’s work and read his book “If Chins Could Kill”.
