I am writing a novel in which the heroine ran off to Mexico and married her boyfriend when she was a ****?nager?
Does anyone know the laws regarding getting married in Mexico?
Such ***?..what is the legal age? if you get run off and get married there, when you came back to the US would it be “legal” here?
Is there anything required (like, could you do it in a weekend?)

Here’s a site:
Do a ***?arch for “marriage law Mexico” or “marriage Mexico,” and you’ll probably find plenty.

According to a few sites I’ve found on ****?gle ***?ople under the age of 18 must have their parents’ ***?rmission. With parents’ ***?rmission, guys can’t be any younger than 16 and girls can’t be any younger than 14. Weddings can’t be held on Sundays. (So choosing a Saturday for your novel would be best if you ****?t to have them get married in a weekend.) And I’m ***.ming the marriage in Mexico will be legal in the USA ***? long ***? you have the marriage license and all that paperwork. Check out the site I found my info from or ****?gle marriages in Mexico if you ****?na know more.
‘Hope this helps and ****?d luck on your novel!!!
