How to break writers block?
Yes, I have searched Y!A for days now and have found nothing satisfactory. Usually, nothing inspires me to do something, I do it because I want to do something new, and if I like it, I stick to it. I’m not the kind of person who can brainstorm or daydream either, and I can’t write random terms and shuffle them. I usually have an active imagination, but now I can’t think of anything, HELP PLZ???
I can’t observe either! Help!
I’m 11, if that helps.

Go read a book or a series of short stories. It will help.

it will pass in time. do something fresh new and exciting. dont think about it all the time, it will come to you. go to a park and watch people, or the mall.

Hm, well maybe you should take a nap. That could get your mind well rested to brainstorm and be ready to think again.

A very long time ago one of me teachers taught me something neat.
She said to write down EVERYHING you are thinking about.. Even if it goes something like this: Hi, I do not know what to write so I will just write whatever comes to my mind.
You will eventually think of something !
Good luck !

Just drop it for a while. Sorry about the writer’s block but I have learned that the only way to get rid of it is to drop whatever you’re working on and pick it back up again once you get interested. Sorry, but that’s all I can offer.

Day one- Come home, do all work/chores, clean house, enjoy a good dinner, enjoy a bubble bath, open windows, go to bed early thinking about what you would like to write.
Day two- wake up to the most perfect house, breathe in the fresh air, get up, get food, sit down and write. Day one creates a great environment for writing while the coll air gets you happy, so to say.
That’s what worked for me. Good luck!

Try free writing. That has always worked for me. Free writing is when you write or type WHATEVER is on your mind, literally. If you find yourself writing the word ‘um’, then write it down and keep moving. You should find that this gets your hands moving and the brain thinking. Set a time limit like ten minutes for example. The key to free writing is to not stop, though. So, once you start, don’t stop. Just keep writing.

You don’t say how much of the story you have completed. I have completed six full length novels and had the same problem, many time. I found that reading the last few paragraphs over a few times usually prompted a few words for the next paragraph. A change of scene or the introduction of a new character is another way out.
