How much do you get paid for writing a Harlequin novel?

Harlequin “books” are not written by ***?ople, they are written by machines.

Pretty standard pay for a first-time author is about 1000 to 1500 dollars, regardless of who your publisher is. If they’re a big-name, like Harlequin, they’ll give you that much ***? an advance, and then more in the very unlikely event that your earned royalties exceed that amount.
