Every decent poem is going to be owned by someone. The trick is to find out by whom, and find out to what level they are restricting the use of the poem. Most poetry is available for non-commercial purposes. If you are going to use this strictly for a home production with no commercial purpose, you'll be fine. If not, the next step I would take is to find the latest book the poem was published in and contact that publisher.
