I agree get a job where you have to write. However even if you don’t – WRITE anyway. Keep a diary, a blogspot, ask your local paper for a column. Anything, but the main thing is to write.
Think about what kind of material you want to write and then map out a plan how to implement it. Do you want to be in print, or do you want to see your screen play on the silver screen? Do as much research as you can, and never take no for an answer.
