The truth is you should write about situations from a child’s point of view. Take things we all do everyday, and then write about them as if you were the child watching, seeing , doing, those things. Examples would include “Family Circus”.

Art Linkletter used to have a show called, “Kids say the darndest things.”

Diversions work wonders. Find a hobby or something else to occupy your brain. You’ll end up thinking more clearly when you go back to work.

Write for the sake of writing, not for the sake of
contructing your opus, but more for the mental exercise
of getting words together.Do it as fast as you can
and don’t read it.Do not edit it,just write whatever,
it doesn’t have to be profound.

Usually writers block occurs when you have been over stimulating the one thing you love the most: writing. Take a break, focus on other issues that need addressing, like doing projects around the house. Also, practice mathematics. This stimulates the other side of your brain, and allows the other side to become bored so to speak, and then ideas may come back to you.
