do you believe the internet what will you do if some takes your printout and places it as ones own NOTHING so read this write your own publish your own or they will all you disown

     WHY IMPRISON ME

They have altered my stance,
At a moments manipulative instance,
Because another one does arrive,
My soul mate does me deprive.

Think not of me as I am no convict,
My internet dear friends not a wee bit,
I am no more at the helm one would fear,
Albeit I am still a painful a small tear,

To be obscure only they want to ensure,
But no more agony I should now endure.
Afraid of my escape, they have now tried,
Parallel to the road, they have me tied.

From where I can every now and then see,
Many a car running about so free,
So as to feel inflamed that I can no more,
Drive one in this current life for sure.

They plant me besides a computer now,
Unknowingly it’s a boon some how.
They can rein me, nay not over me reign,
As a free bird, sky is my rightful domain.

There are many places to post poetry on the internet, and among them are the ones who will also publish your work as their own, as well as those that are totally honest. My publisher has started a site to post and review poetry, discuss poetry and poets,, all who are living, although all are not famous, but some are. It's a place to read a lot of good poetry. Yahoo answers also has it's share of good poets as well as it's share of those who are terrible but think they are good. They also have their share of the know-it-alls who will tell you "it's cliche`" or "it doesn't flow", or "it should rhyme", or "it shouldn't rhyme". And of course there are the ones that praise the worst writing in the world as the best in hopes of getting that elusive 10 point Best Answer Prize.
My publisher's site is
He is starting a contest in January that is set up in categories of Professional, Amateur, and Student. That way contest compete against their peers so have a fair opportunity.
You can learn much there and here, but here you must weed out tons of chaff from the grain.
I also recommend this reference site for explanations on meters.

As I'm sure you've discovered, there is an astonishing quantity of bad poetry all over the Internet. Fortunately, there are also some high-quality e-journals that publish extremely good contemporary verse. I've included a few links below. You'll find that one journal will often lead you to several others, since the contributors' biographical notes usually contain information about other places those poets have published.

There will shortly be discussions on poetry at this site. Please join us!
The poem being discussed is by a living, contemporary poet.
