Historical fiction books about the Holocaust?

I have to read a historical fiction book for my book report. I’m interested in the Holocaust. I’m in 7th grade if that helps.

I want the book to be around 140-200 pages. Any suggestions?

Diary of Ann Frank, or The Pianist, or you can just go to Barnes N Nobles and search I am sure they will have a wide variety of books in this category..

Milkweed was one of the best stories I have ever read on the Holocaust, and I believe I did a book report on it in the seventh or eigth grade. It really is a great book – I loved it so much. The main character is a gypsy boy who winds up in the ghetto, and the story follows his life through the Holocaust and after it.

God, it is such an amazing book! Please, read it! It is just so amazing, it needs someone to read it.

Hm, let’s see .. there’s ‘In My Enemy’s House’ by Carol Matas that i read in Junior High, and I loveloveloved the book ‘Ann Frank and Me’. It’s about a teenage girl in modern times, and she read online that the story of Ann Frank might be completely made up. She then goes back in time and eventually forgets about her time in the future .. and well, as you can imagine, a bunch of awful things happen because it IS about the Holocaust. It’s reeeeally good though. :)
I love books about the Holocaust, I find it so interesting. :)

For a longer, more substantive read (with no censorship) check out Herman Wouk’s “The Winds of War” and its thrilling sequel “War & Remembrance”.

After reading both you can be regaled by the movie series based upon the books. There are over 24-hours of film collectively for all the movies combined!

Your take on World War II will be changed . . . forever if you read these two books.
