Hey could you name good fiction novels about the future?

Hey I recently watched “the Island” the one with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanson. Could you give me novels like this. I’ve already read the original one of this genre, the “Time Machine” by H.G Wells and well I didn’t really like it. I found that Wells didn’t expound on the time traveling concept focusing on only two eras, and it wasn’t very creative. So please any novels, no star wars or star trek please!

I was just intrigued by your wording.

    “Fiction novel about the future”.

Is there anything it could be other than fiction and be about the future???

But it was nice to read a question where the spelling was correct, and the grammar was good. Seems like so many people on here didn’t do well in English while attending school.

Good luck on finding your novel!!!
