Help finding a short story by a russian author?
There are tons of Russian short stories available on the web, but I need multiple sources that critique the short story? Anyone know a popular one that’s often analyzed?

Anything by Anton Chekhov should be out there. He’s pretty famous for short stories and drama. “Ward No. 6″ is a famous one of his.
My tenth graders just read “Signs and Symbols” by Nabokov and there is a lot of speculation about the meaning and purpose of that story. It’s very cryptic. I looked up some criticism of it in order to be able to discuss it intelligently with them.
We also read “The District Doctor” by Turgenev.
Good luck!
