fiction short story IDEAS help?
i’m writing a fictional short story for my writing class and i want to write a story about a teacher. i want her to be weird or like have a secret. what kinds of things should she do? do u think the story would be better if she was mean?

she should be like the perfect teacher, all nice & sweet, and really good with kids.
and she should be like an assassin or a ninja by night.
and then one student should like come in at night cuz he forgot his bag or something, and then he sees her in her like secret outfit, and then the secrets out….

What kind of secret would a teacher keep that would be exciting?
Maybe she’s a serial killer.
Maybe a secret society depends on her to find extremely bright and clever children to recruit for a government project.
Maybe she can turn into an animal.
Maybe she grades papers by throwing them down the stairs and depending on which step it lands on, she gives it a certain grade.
Maybe she is actually a kid who was turned into an adult.
Maybe she is actually a man.

that is a dumb idea do this
ok a family of 4 is really poor and they have not invented banks so they keep money up on the mountin like billons of dollars so they go to get it and it is gone

she should be a vampire like in twilight( a vegetarian vampire)

There’s a series of books like this with titles like “Vampires Don’t Wear Polka Dots” and “Werewolves Don’t Go to Summer Camp.” But maybe her secret is something more plausible and fun. Maybe she’s a spy, or she’s into RPGs and really good at them, or she won the lottery but still wants to teach. Or maybe it’s something bad, like she lost her house and is living out of her car in the school parking lot.

you could apply any one of these to a teacher’s life:
describe the worst date of your life
write about a time you lost something important to you
write about a prom. anyone’s prom. maybe even your parents
a characer who is trying to gain access to a private club or organization
Begin a story with, “The last time I saw my mother was 15 years ago.”
Invent a character who must choose between the lesser of two evils
Write a story w/ a phone call starting at 3 am
A wedding during which the bride or groom changes their mind
