No, not every college has one. But many do, and there are certainly a lot of them in Massachusetts which offer such courses. There are more colleges in the Boston area than in any other city in the country, so you would have a lot of choice.

Yes, just about all colleges have teachers in the English dept who offer creative writing courses, and most will offer either a major in creative writing, or a minor or some other credentials. And yes, there are good schools in Mass – UMass, Boston College, Boston U – and many other who may be less prominent nationally but that have good programs that would suit your interests. Check ‘em out!

I think most colleges that have English Departments have creative writing courses. in terms of having it as your major, usually universities or 4-year colleges offer the English major with different concentrations you can choose from, including creative writing. But to be sure, check the English department web page of the university you plan to go to, and it usually lists their programs there. or you can go straight to the university home page, click on academics, and then majors/programs, and it gives you a list.
