Does anyone know how many words a short story should be in a English writing Exam?


Im doing my English writings prelim on Monday and i have been practicing but i don’t know how long a short story should be. Can anyone please help ?

    For what exam? I would typically say anywhere from 800 to 1000 words, minimum. It would help if you stated what test you were taking. Then you could look at their requirements.
