Does anyone have any creative writing ideas?
I am an active songwriter and novelist. BUT, I am having a bit of writers block. Any ideas for stories (characters, plots, actions, events, scenarios, etc.) or any song ideas (if you would like to give me a personal experience, or a fantasy, or a strong feeling, etc. I like my songs to have meaning and reality while some have fantasy and love, etc.) Thank you so much guys!

The story begins with two men from San Antonio. Best Friends. Their names. Tom and Tom. Tom is a bashful and reflective man while Tom is an outgoing and perpetually self-unaware human. Tom after going through an ordeal in his life begins to do drugs and Tom abandons him. So Tom adopts a German shepherd and names him Tom after himself and his long lost best friend. Tom now works to come back from his drug addiction but has now fallen from one struggle to another. Now without his heroine Tom has fallen victim to the world of Beastiality with Tom, the dog not the human.

The book “Writing Magic” by Gail Carson Levine has a lot of story beginnings and ideas. I find those helpful when I’m having writers block. If you don’t have the money to get it or access to a library to check it out, I also find people watching helpful. The mall is a great place. Sit in the walkway and just watch people talking and interacting, before you know it you’ll be coming up with stories about people that can be used in novels or songs. Sorry I don’t have any ideas to give you… I keep those for my stories and songs =)
