Take an online creative writing class. They aren’t that expensive, you can work at your own pace and you will get plenty of feedback.

The creative part should come from you, otherwise it wouldn’t be creative, right? Look into your life, I’m sure there’s something there that you want to bring out. If you don’t have anything interesting in your life to write about, then for goodness sake, go out and do something.

I have had the same problem but the best way to get out of it is to keep a journal or just write something down every day even if you don’t feel like it. If you write poems and think of a sentence that would sound good in a poem, write it down and when you get enough, put them together and you have a poem. Also anytime you have an idea but don’t feel like writing about it, write it down and come back to it later.

Good luck and hope you get over your writer’s block!

    Happy New Year!

start with a guy who lives down the street, who you don’t know…and just start making wierd situations for him to miraculously get out of…Ever read heard of Arthur Dent, the hero of Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy…it started with him getting evicted from his home for a new highway…he laid down in front of the dozer and his wierd friend saved him, took him to a bar and got him drunk…then told him to drink his beers fast because the world was going to explode in 10 minutes, which it did…..that was the beginning of the story

You need to sit down daily and write anything that comes to mind, you be surprised, after about thirty minutes you really get creative. Good Luck.

Writer’s Block is a malady of many of us, assuming you know of creative writing, grab a favorite bit of your idea(leave the rest of it on the back burner) and take it out for a stroll. Have fun w/ it-take it to places that it hasn’t been before. Use it in different scenes, places and settings; incorporate new characters;let it over take you and deal w/it.Format,reformat and start over again,Put that idea back and do the same; yet differently with another bit of your dreams:EVOLUTION CREATES REVOLUTION. Live your dreams and your dreams will come true. A Writer’s finished work are dreams come true. GOOD LUCK- Live Long and Prosper-

find a 5 gallon bucket and empty the contents and clean it up real nice. carry a pad of paper where every you go when ever you have an idea or phrase write it down and at the end of the day tear those pages and put them in your 5 gallon bucket not the trash can.

when you need an idea take out 10 teared up pieces of paper and try to reason them out. mix well before taking out paper.

Start a blog through blogger or wordpress.com or something. You can keep your blog private if you don’t want anyone to read it. Then write something every day.

If you’re stuck on what to write about, most people’s advice is to start with what you know – your life, experiences, and so on. Good luck!
