The Medieval Murderers
The Medievil Murderers are a ***?t of four ****?ks written ***? anthologies by a group of historical crime novelists.
Set up by Micheal Jecks, author of the Templar Mysteries, the group consists of a number of popular historical crime authors (including Michael Jecks, Susanna Gregory, Bernard Knight, Ian Morson, Philip ****?den, and Simon Beaufort) who each write about sleuths in different historical ***?riods. The idea behind the Medievil Murderers ****?ks is that they follow a single item or artifact through the ***?me ***?riods, and the sleuths have to solve the crimes that are commited around them. ***? the ****?ks are named the Medieval Murders, it is no surprise that these crimes are usually murder.
The ****?ks each contain a ***?t of short stories which stand alone, introducing historical ***?ns to characters they may not have heard of and providing additional material for characters they have. In addition, there is a framing story, describing the origin of the artefact, and a short modern day ending.
The Tainted Relic covers a sliver of wood originally believed to be part of the cross. ***?rsed to kill anyone who touches it, it passes down through the ages surrounded by mayhem and murder. Its value is ****?h that men would kill to possess it, ****? the man who possesses it always dies, making the final ***?te of the sliver in the afterword bitterly ironic.
Sword of Shame, the ***?cond ****?k again follows an artifact, this ***?me a sword that was crafted to defeat the invaders of Britain, ****? which again carries a dreadful ***?rse. Sword of Shame suffers slightly because its conceit is too close to the first ****?ks.
In House of Shadows, the ***?rsed item is a location. A monastery ***?rsed after the death of a young monk is afterwards followed by years of misfortune and death within its walls. Plots, scheme and intrigues abound, and in each era the sleuths must untangle the web of its past.
The Lost Prophecies focuses on a ****?k of prophecies washed ***?hore in Ireland. One of the best of the ***?ries, the sleuths have to resolve the murders surrounding the ****?k - because who would not kill to know the ***?ture?
As an introduction to historical crime thrillers, these are useful, particularly if you ****?t to try ***?veral authors at once before ***?ttling on one ***?ries. Likewise ***?ns of one author may appreciate ***?eing their ***?vourite sleuths effectively guest-starring in a longer novel.
It’s a creative conceit for a ***?ries, and ***?ide from Sword of Shame which is the weakest entry in the ***?ries, all the ****?ks are solid reads. By the fourth ****?k, the writers have managed to pull their styles together and their individual ***?ctions follow together more effectively.
In short, for a ***?n of historical crime, one of these is worth *****?ing up. if you like them, try the others.

You are now a career writer…you are working on your first novel, let’s say a western ****? you also ****?t to bring in some money, recognition and just build your web presence. This is where last week’s question of “who do I write for?” is answered. A better question would be to first ***?k, “What do I ****?t to write about besides the novel?”
A ****?d way to start would be to pursue one of two avenues, maybe even both: Article writing and short stories.
What is article writing? Article writing is non-fiction writing, focusing on an area that you have some expertise in. This expertise could come from a hobby, your job, ***?mily, or social work/ministry. Let’s say your hobby is quilting or restoring old cars. Either of these subjects could create many articles on a variety of subjects ***?rtaining to quilting or car restoration. Your job ***? a nurse or ministry working with disabled children would support articles that would be widely read. Do you love to cook and are always pouring over cookbooks? Write about it. Have you raised *****?s or give care to elderly parents? Write an article.
I can suggest three places you can submit articles:
(1) Free article websites- these are websites that offer articles free of charge for ***?ople to use in newsletters, e-zines and other places. You might **** the thought of giving your work for free ****? you can get noticed, build your presence and help others through article websites. An article I wrote on my child graduating and the mixed emotions I experienced was noticed by an e-zine editor and now I am a contributing writing for her on-line magazine. ****?gle “free article websites” and check guidelines to ***?e what is needed.
(2) Magazines are always looking for well-written non-fiction articles concerning their subject matter. Diligently ***?arch out what magazine your article will fit best and follow guidelines completely.
(3) Your own website- if you love quilting or nursing or cookbooks, consider starting a website on the subject and publish your own articles. You can create a following that will be ***?miliar with your writing and ready to purchase that novel when it is completed.
Short Stories
Short stories are simply what their name infers-fiction or true to life stories that are short, some ***?ople consider a short story less than 5000 words and some less than 10,000 words. ***?ople just beginning to write short stories would probably be helped by *****?ing a genre ****?h ***? western, romance or modern day sports story to keep them from being overwhelmed. My dad always told me to write about what I know. When I was a ****?nager, I tried to write a short story about a ****?nager in Alaska and it didn’t flow well at all. The ***?ct was I had never been to Alaska and the research wasn’t giving me a comfortable experience of trying to write about it. I changed the place to my own home state and things went much better.
Three places to submit a short story:
(1) Literary journals- these are magazine which print short stories and poems exclusively. They usually publish one to four issues a year and are looking for new writers. Read the journal of your choice and get a feel for it before submitting work.
(2) Contests and anthologies- There are many short story contests on the internet; make sure to research for legitimate ones. Many literary journals have contests and some contests require a small fee to enter. Anthologies of poetry and short stories are often looking for “new” stories; one example being “Chicken Soup for the Soul.”
(3) Magazines-many magazines have short story contests or print one to two short stories ***?r issue. Again, check out the magazine and look over guidelines carefully.
I hope you ***?e that writing articles and short stories can be a great way to build up a following eager to ***?e what you are writing next…next week join us ***? we discuss building a web presence…your own website…

In January, sickly and bloated from all the excess of the party ***?ason, many of us announce we are detoxing, not drinking for three months, losing ten kilos or whatever our own ***?rsonal hang-ups ****?tate. ****? is all this new year’s virtuous activity likely to do us any ****?d?
What detox diets promise
Some ***?ople (Carol Vorderman and Kim Wilde, step forward!) have made a fortune from promoting their own detox programs, which apparently can help us lose a 10 kilos in 10 days, banish cellulite forever, feel better than we’ve ever felt, and more.
The detox theory
The theory goes, our bodies are continually overloaded with toxins from pollution, cigarette smoke, ***?sticides, a ****?r diet, food additives, alcohol and caffeine. ***? these toxins build up in our system we ***?in weight, get cellulite, headaches, dull skin, bloating, ***?tigue, lowered immunity, aches and pains, and suffer from a general lack of wellbeing. Supposedly, the process of detoxing helps to remove these toxins from the body so you lose weight, feel healthier and recover from all those other *****?ling health problems.
Do detoxes work?
Some doctors argue that our bodies are completely capable of excreting waste without the aid of ‘detoxing’ - that’s what our liver, lungs, kidneys and skin are designed to do, after all. Whether this is true or not, strict detox diets followed in the long term, can lead to nutrient deficiencies. And of course, if you do a short-term detox then go back to your old habits, it’s unlikely to do you any long-term ****?d.
I’m certainly not arguing that junk food and excess alcohol is ****?d for you. ****? for me, the biggest problem with the idea of detoxing is that it doesn’t allow for gradual, long-term development of healthier habits. This all-or-nothing approach calls for complete dedication to a ***?vere program which is not sustainable or realistic in the long term. Naturally, when you ***?ll off the wagon you feel guilty then you think ‘what the hell’ and hit the alcohol and chocolate harder than ever!
Organic food for a clean system
Intuitively, we know that ***?sticides in our body from the food we eat can’t be a ****?d thing. Try introducing some ****?anic food to your diet. You don’t have to go completely ****?anic and many ***?ople can’t afford to. Here’s a list of the more contaminated fruits and vegetables which you could replace with ****?anic produce:
* apples
* ***?ars
* ***?aches
* nectarines
* strawberries
* cherries
* raspberries
* grapes
* ***?ppers (capsicum)
* celery
* green beans
* potatoes
* ****?nach
* lettuce
* ***?cumbers
* squash
* pumpkin
Try introducing more fruits and vegetables to your diet, maybe you could get a fruit and vegetable box delivered each week. Fresh ***?asonal vegetables arrive at your door, forcing you to look for new ways to prepare and cook them. Most cities have a variety of ****?anic and non-organic home delivery ***?rvices.
Clean up your skin
It’s also important to consider how the products we use on our skin and in our homes may be affecting our health. They routinely contain chemicals that are carcinogenic or have gender-bending and other toxic effects. If you really ****?t to eliminate some toxins from your body, you should probably be looking at the contents of your bathroom cabinet and your household cleaning products, rather than eating only cabbage.
Get real (and realistic)!
A glass of red wine with a meal is ****?d for you and can help protect against cancer, ***? can dark chocolate. A half hour walk each day is all you need to protect yourself from depression and ****?st your immune system. So, rather than eating lettuce leaves and drinking nothing ****? water for six weeks, be kind to yourself. Enjoy a glass of wine with your dinner, go for a relaxing walk and have the occasional dessert. That way you’ll be less likely to devour a whole packet of biscuits in one sitting because you won’t feel deprived. Whoever said ‘all things in moderation’ had the right idea!

Jericho, Kansas (fictional)
?
Region
NW Kansas
Population

Area

1876 (Listed on Sign Leaving Town)
Jericho, Kansas, a fictional town, is the ***?tting of the CBS TV ***?ries Jericho. It is described ***? being located in the fictitious “Fillmore County”, east of Denver, Colorado, close to the Colorado border. Parts of the show were filmed in the real Kansas town of Lawrence, temporarily renamed Jericho for a day during filming. The pilot episode was filmed on location in Fillmore, California, and ***?ts for Jericho were built at a studio in Van Nuys, California.
There was an actual location in Kansas named “Jericho”. It was a post office in Larabee Township, Kansas in Gove County, and folded in 1923. Oakley is the closest community that matches the fictional Jericho’s apparent location, and some route numbers from the “official” CBS map of Jericho match, ****? Oakley is in almost entirely in Logan County.
The ***?tting
Episode and mapping observations on the location of Jericho
According to an “official” map of Jericho shown on the CBS website, Interstate 70, State Route 83, and State Route 40 converge in Jericho; ****? in the real world, Interstate 70, U.S. Route 83, and U.S. Route 40 converge in Oakley, Kansas, which is 70 miles from the Colorado border. Despite the similarity in numbered routes to the real-life convergence of highways in Oakley, the map shown by CBS does not conform to the actual road configuration. A ***?n ****?anization chose Oakley ***? the venue for a ***?ptember, 2007 convention, ***? they believed it was the “actual” location of the fictional town.
Also according to the “official” CBS map, a railway line passes through Jericho which approaches from the east and splits into a northern route and a southern route. In the real world, this also occurs in Oakley.
Also in the pilot, Jake Green is ***?en driving along a two-lane highway leading from Denver into Kansas, and passes a road sign that lists distances to Jericho, Wichita, and Kansas City.
In episode 2, ***?llout, Jericho is established in dialogue ***? being near Interstate 70 and northeast of ****?dland, Kansas. This would locate Jericho near Colby, Kansas, the only point on I-70 in Kansas which is northeast of ****?dland.
In episode 3, Four ****?semen, a map is ***?en on the wall which places Jericho in the same location ***? Ness City, Kansas.
In episode 11, Vox Populi, Robert Hawkins is tracked via a satellite view which focuses on a location in west-central Kansas, rather than northwest Kansas.
In episode 15, ***?mper Fidelis, the ***?ke Marine unit that appears in Jericho makes a specific reference to being in “northwest Kansas.”
In episode 19, Casus Belli, Jericho is shown on a map ***? being located at the intersection of County Road 122 and Route 6. This contradicts all previous evidence, including the “official” CBS map.
In episode 22, Why We Fight, Robert Hawkins accesses coordinates 3906?38.36?N 9927?17?W? / ?39.1106556 99.45472? / 39.1106556; -99.45472 which place Jericho a few miles north of Hays, Kansas; and the Heather Lisinski character finally establishes in dialogue that Jericho is in “Kansas, not ***?r from the Colorado border.”
Geography
Although the show depicts Jericho ***? having rolling hills, trees, and a salt mine, the northwest corner of Kansas is flat ***?rmland except for a rough “badlands area” known ***? the Arikaree Breaks in ***?r northwest Cheyenne County, Kansas near the town of St. Francis, Kansas. There are very few trees or hills, and no salt mines. The Kansas salt mines are located in the south-central part of the state near Hutchinson, Kansas. In the first episode, Jake ***?es the mushroom cloud while looking over mountainous terrain a short drive from Jericho. Mountains are not visible from Kansas, not even near the Colorado border; they are visible only within 90 miles from Denver in clear weather. Because the Smokey Hill River does exist, the Smokey Hill Bridge mentioned in the third episode could exist,…(and so on) To get More information , you can visit some products about ****?y rompers, capacitor size, . Muscle Fiction
If you’v been training, here’s a short list of bodybuilding fiction.Visit at http://webmd-freedieting.blogspot.com
1. 12 Rep rule
Most weight training program include this much repetitions for ***?ining muscle. The truth is this approach places the muscles with not enough tension for effective muscle ***?in. High tension e.g. heavy weights provides muscle growth in which the muscle grows much larger, leading to the maximum ***?ins in strength. Having longer tension ***?me ****?sts the muscle size by generating the structures around the muscle fibers, improving endurance.
The standard prescription of eight to 12 repetitions provides a balance ****? by just using that program all of the ***?me, you do not generate the greater tension levels that is provided by the heavier weights and lesser reps, and the longer tension achieved with lighter weights and more repetitions. Change the number of reps and adjust the weights to stimulate all types of muscle growth.
2. Three ***?t rule
The truth is there’s nothing wrong with three ***?ts ****? then again there is nothing amazing about it either. The number of ***?ts you ***?rform should be base on your goals and not on a half-century old rule. The more repetitions you do on an exercise, the fewer ***?ts you should do, and vice versa. This keeps the total number of repetitions done of an exercise equal.
3. Three to four exercises ***?r group
The truth is this is a waste of ***?me. Combined with twelve reps of three ***?ts, the total number of reps amount to 144. If your doing this much reps for a muscle group your not doing enough. Instead of doing too many varieties of exercises, try doing 30 to 50 reps. That can be anywhere from 2 ***?ts of 15 reps or 5 ***?ts of 10 reps.
4. My knees, my toes
It is a gym folklore that you “should not let your knees go past your toes.” Truth is that leaning forward a little too much is more likely a cause of injury. In 2003, Memphis University researchers confirmed that knee stress was almost thirty ***?rcent higher when the knees are allowed to move beyond the toes during a squat.
But hip stress increased nearly 10 ***?mes or (1000 ***?rcent) when the forward movement of the knee was restricted. Because the squatters needed to lean their body forward and that forces the strain to transfer to the lower back.
Focus on your upper body position and less on the knee. Keep the torso in an upright position ***? much ***? possible when doing squats and lunges. These reduces the stress generated on the hips and back. To stay upright, before squatting, squeeze the shoulder blades together and hold them in that position; and then ***? you squat, keep the forearms 90 degree to the floor.
5. Lift weights, draw abs
The truth is the muscles work in groups to stabilize the ****?ne, and the most important muscle group change depending on the type of exercise. The transverse abdominis is not always the most important muscle group. Actually, for most exercise, the body automatically activates the muscle group that are needed most for support of the ****?ne. So if you focus only on the transverse abdominis, it can recruit wrong muscles and limit the right muscles. This increases the chance of injury, and reduces the weight that can be lifted. In ***?rrent ***?mes, merely within ten years the discourse has started in Urdu literature up on the philosophy of Postmodernism and Deconstructionism. Undoubtedly, almost all big critics in Urdu literature are involved in this discourse. At the same ***?me it has attracted a lot of creative writers to follow the theme.
Abrar Mujeeb, a fiction writer from the Industrial City of Jamshedpur [India], has written ****?h stories that represent the Philosophy of Deconstructionism. After 1980, the Urdu fiction has turned towards new colorful dimensions. Some new important names have happened to appear up on the ****?izon of Urdu short stories including NayyarMassod, SyedMohammadAshraf, SaajidRasheed, Ghzanfer, MusharrafAlamZaouqi, PaighamAafaqi, ShamuelAhmed, TariqChatari, SamimAfzaQamar, ***?rhatParveen, Qamar Jahan, ZakiyaMashhadi, KhursheedHayat, MahmoodShahid, AzraNaqvi, Shaheera Msroor, and GhiyasurRahman. Abrar Mujeeb is an important name in the equal list.
In his fictions we found the techniques of deconstructionism which has affected other story writers in Urdu to come closer to this. It is ought to understand that the communication techniques in deconstructionism are different than a narrative style of writing. It communicates through an alternative logic and subject next to the real text. Deconstructionism is not directly related to the subject matter of the story rather than it gives emphasis to the meaning of the text which undergoes in between the lines. So a deconstructionist critic or writer always stresses to communicate through the unwritten lines of his text which exist invisibly in his narration. The philosophy of deconstructionism can not be bounded with the text by any means, rather than it can be limited to the unlimited boundaries of the text beyond the text. The ideas presented beyond the text are suppose to be more genuine, authentic, and ***?ctual. So in order to review or form a creative writing the awareness of its ‘further than text expression’ pays vital role in the whole creative scenario.
Abrar Mujeeb’s story ‘The scenario of night’ is a wonderful story. The habitual changes of day to day life, the look of life and death, the eternal journey of mankind and the universe, the conflict between evil and devil and the psycho-sociological changes of the human societies are ***?ed-up in a single knot. ***? if the human life and the nature were interdependent to each other to unveil themselves. It is a common concept that the occurrence of an incident depends up on the movement of the earth and this is the concept of the ***?rial ***?me which is defined ***? a subordinating cause of beingness. In this fiction Abrar Mujeeb has stated the idea that the occurrence of an incident not only depends up on the ***?me. The nature and the universe are eventful in ****?h incident to take place. In ‘The scenario of night’ he writes while describing the scene of an evening:
“… the redness of the evening is looking blackish ***?r in the ****?izon, though it has not spread out like a spot on the blueness of the
sky ***? the spots of clotted blood, spreads up on the floor of a
slaughter house.”
At a ***?cond put he writes:
“…there is a bridge up on the chest of the river. At the moment
train has not passed over it and possibly all the scenario is
waiting for some important ***?me or moment and are vanished
in their own”.
At the last when the story comes to end, the redness of the ****?izon turns into spreaded spots of frozen clotted blood and “at the same ***?me a train passes through the bridge and the whole picture disappears up on the *****?en of the thick fog, ***?rhaps these pictures were waiting for the same ***?me or moment”. Superficially it is just scenery, ****? virtually it is scenery which looks for some or more happenings or incidents to be added in it. And they all inevitably ***?ll together at one point to become the part of a big happening or a scene. In the eyes of the story writer every thing which is happening or going to be happen is the integral part of this universe. The ***?me and the place are inevitably put together along with the happenings to take place. Thus the conclusion comes from all occurrences that they all are predefined to occur. Though the tale of this story is of less worth ****? the whole treatment is excellent.
Story “The fragrance of own soil” is written up on the philosophy of regional existentialism. In this story the basic identity of an individual and society has been brought to notice. An individual can not be the strength of a society if not he is ready to love and protect his identity. Consequently, the basic identity is ***? urgent for ****?cess in every ***?pects of life. The is the point where the individual and the society comes to strength. The strength and identity of a society depends upon the strength and identity of its individuals. The life then starts moving smoothly. Abrar Mujeeb also tries to strengthen and protect his soil.
Story “The rain” is simple in its expression ****? deep in its meaning. Story “Thrust” is a show of prohibited creativity. Story “The water way of backside” shows the everlasting continuation of ***?me. Besides this his stories “First task” “On the same turn” “Death” “The story of stories” are his best stories.
Summarizing all, we ***?e that the stories of Abrar Mujeeb are the stories of the communication of deconstructionism and prohibited creativity. More to the point, all these stories represents some or more thoughts and ideas of the philosophy of his age. Individuals, Society, characters, feelings, emotions, affairs and thoughts every thing being all together generates a deep taste of life in his stories. He creates a link between the post-modern ***?nsibility and universality. In the backdrop of his feelings and emotions and through his carefulness he teaches us to live with an extended thought of life. We feel that at the artistic level, through locating his own way Abrar Mujeeb passes through a ***?lf evaluating situation. These evaluations act like determiner and make his stories ****?cessful. Small things and small signs are of worth importance for him. The study of life through the mirror of deconstructionism has come closer to his art. Whenever an ***?piring writer speaks to me about fiction writing ***?ps, one of the most frequently ***?ked questions is: how do you find the ***?me to write?
The answer I ****?t to give, “just do it,” doesn’t quite suffice. So in this article, we’ll examine the matter in a little more detail.
We live in a busy world, with numerous demands on our ***?me: jobs, spouses, children, draining work commutes, TV shows we ****?t to watch, emails to read and respond to, phone calls to ***?mily and friends. When you look at your daily schedule, it may appear that you simply don’t have ***?me to write.
Well, I’ve got both ****?d and bad news for you.
The ****?d news: even with a ***?ght schedule, you can still get work done. The bad news? Something in your lifestyle will have to suffer, or change, to accommodate your fiction writing.
There are no short ***?ts, no easy answers. You’ve got to get creative–and motivated.
For example, do you get a lunch break at your job? Start taking a notepad with you and using that ***?me–even if it’s only thirty minutes–to work on your stories. Do you commute to work via carpool, bus, or subway? Instead of reading the newspaper or listening to music on your iPod, plug away on your novel.
One of the keys to productivity is learning how to identify those pockets of free ***?me during the day, and then using them to your benefit. It’s not ***? hard ***? you may think. In ***?ct, when you really examine your daily schedule, you might be ***?tounded at how much you could accomplish.
Can you do some fiction writing while your children are playing, eating, or napping? Could you scribble or ****?tate a few paragraphs while waiting in line somewhere? Zip out some prose ***? you wait for dinner to cook?
And yes, you might even have to give up some things. Do you really have to watch all of those TV shows every week? Do you have to spend hours on social networking web sites, accomplishing nothing in particular?
Locate the “fat” in your life, trim it out, and replace it with some fiction writing! Even if all you can manage is just one hour a day, that is something. Do a page an hour and you’ll have a solid draft in 9 - 10 months, which isn’t so bad at all.
You can do it. Really. Starting today.

He put his first creative step on the road to the life itself and the ***?cond to the universe.
Abrar Mujeeb is an active and ***?nsitive artist. His stories are decent, loving and alive. He is regarded ***? an important short story writer after 1980. Considering his style of writing and thinking he is regarded ***? a short story writer of high repute among the generation of writers in Urdu after 1980.

* apples
* ***?ars
* ***?aches
* nectarines
* strawberries
* cherries
* raspberries
* grapes
* ***?ppers (capsicum)
* celery
* green beans
* potatoes
* ****?nach
* lettuce
* ***?cumbers
* squash
* pumpkin
