so im writing an awesome story!!!! anyway sometimes i’ll be in the zone all into it then have no idae what should come next. then i am no longer in the zone. and have really crappy writers block. how should i get rid of it?

i used to write for ages and ages on end but now i can hardly manage a paragraph and its terrible. i ususally write fantasy, horror, sci-fi stuff like that, and now nothings coming to mind at all, not even a sentence! bleh!

Its about a girl whos dad died when she was little and her mum blames her for this and abuses her so she turns anorexic and dies in the end, and the twist is that the dad actually wrote the story and is still alive but got abducted because he was a spy for the army but yeah i need to start it off but how?!

Dont ask me why i got a mind blank there, but i did.
i have no idea how to finish it.
Spend it on what?
spend it on himself?
the nuns who were forced to bed priests at the time?

Mother and Father in silent dispute over her drinking and his unfaithful ways. Daughter distraught over absent lover of her soon to be born child. Eldest son walks into the room and says :

Whenever I get an idea for a story lately, they have only been coming in small snippets. Like just scenes. I can’t seem to develope anything substantial. It feels like everything has been done, and I feel like I am always so hung up on making each word perfect, I can’t move forward. I’ve been uninspired for a while now. Over a year. Any advice? Is this an overly long period to have writers block?
