creative writing questions and answers
Nanowrimo’
Next month is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I am hopelessly without a plot. Usually I have some sort of idea laid out, but this year I can’t think of anything interesting.
My genre: Fiction/Fantasy/Sci-Fi
Any suggestions? - Willow

So I’m planning on doing ScriptFrenzy this year after all the fun I had doing NaNoWriMo and I just realized I don’t have the first clue about how to write a script. I mean I know what it entails but I don’t know how to do any of the formatting or stage directions. I’ve heard people mention programs for this, can anyone recommend any good ones. Preferably free ones because I don’t know that I’m ever going to write another script and don’t want to spend a ton of money. - lady.ceridwen

I’m writing a book for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and I got curious as to how big this book would be once it’s published. I have all the Sherrilyn Kenyon books, so any book word count would be a great comparison, with exception to Acheron. (I have the book, but it’s much bigger than what i’ve written.) Thank you! - Ink

NaNoWriMo contestants.
If so:
How many years have you done it?
How many times have you won?
Have you completed any books?
Anything published?
If not:
Do you even know what I am talking about?
My answers:
2nd year participating
Won once
Nothing completed, nothing published. - C1-J2

In the story I’m writing for NaNoWriMo, I have a character who constantly compliments people… but I’m having a hard time coming up with a million things to say.
They can be generic, along the lines of “Oh, that’s your real name? How pretty” or something o.O - Koro

Okay, so in my NaNoWriMo, my two main characters are moving to Japan, and I need help. I have no idea how it works.
Like, what kind of passport or visa they need.
How they’d get all of there stuff over there.
And that’s all I can think of that I need to know really.
They’re moving there for the heck of it (that’s not the actual reason, the real one is to long to post). But yeah, not for a job or schooling, and they want to stay there. - Rinnie

For research, I need to have a first hand report of what it was like during Nixon’s impeachment. Was it insane, or hidden, did people get very angry? If you want to leave a small, three sentence answer about it that would be great
(No, this is /not/ homework. I’m doing research for Nanowrimo)
Okay I used very bad wording, sorry. But you know what I mean. :/
He was not impeached, he resigned-but we would have been impeached. - GreenHairclips
