Travel Fiction’
I am interested in doing freelance proofreading, preferably fiction books. Any pointers for getting started?
I love to read! I have a B/A in history and economics (double major) and a J.D. I have retired from the practice of law and would like to immerse myself in fiction writing by proofreading for quality authors and publishers. I would be happy to submit a resume and transcripts for any openings in this field. I would also be willing to do some traveling, as well as update my skills through in-house training or through further college credit as required.
I work best from my home or from the small office I have established in an historic office building located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. I could communicate via computer, fax, phone, snail-mail and Fed Ex/UPS, etc…. Never having done this type of work before, I have no clue as to what to charge for this service; please be kind!
If you have done this type of work before, or, are looking for a person with my abilities, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks so much!

Sci-Fi, Time Travel discovered while raiding a planet for technology allows a boy to relive his life?
I’m looking for I book a read a long time ago. Science Fiction, you human race had expanded to other planets. This was financed by companies that then make their money back by raiding the colonies for useful technology to take back to earth. Its about a young man that runs away from his planet and joins the raiders, and he eventually is able to travel back in time to help himself run away and then take over for his younger self and pretend like it never happened and live happily ever after. I dont know the title or auther, I’ve tried so many ways to find this. Thanks.

Looking for the title of a fiction book?
I am looking for a book that I read 10-15 years ago (I don’t know when it was published). It was a paperback fiction book having to do with a boy learning about his unwilling participation in Nazi genetic experiments. I seem to remember some aspect of ESP and/or twins, and possibly time travel of some kind.
Thanks in advance!
Sorry it is not “Making History”

Will we ever really explore space or is it all just science fiction?
Do you think in time will will concur space and be it a little cliche go where no man has gone before into the galaxies and worlds beyond.
Do you thing shows like Star Trek, Star Gate and other Space traveling TV shows (maybe minus the weird and wonderful aliens - Or maybe not??) will ever be a part of our lives in reality. Or is it just hopeful thinking.
NB. I know there is a problem with fuel and distance and not being able to carry enough fuel to travel very far.

Is the book ‘Philosophy of Time Travel’ as mentioned in movie ‘Donnie Darko’ is a real or a fictional one?
I would like to know the truth behind ‘Philosophy of Time Travel’ that whether this totally a fiction created by the director.
The concept of parallel universe is a real theory in physics which was proposed to clear the ambiguities of time travel. But I want to know the truth of things like tangent universe, artifact, manipulated dead etc.

I’m writing a fiction that has a lot of travels?
Any URL or links, on where I could get detailed information on some places that I can’t visit… yet? I’ve been reading some magazines and travel books as well about some places like Germany, Russia, and some parts of Paris. But I mostly see the good ones, I want to see some of the bad places too. (Of course, in my fiction I’ll be taking liberties, but nevertheless, I want it to be realistic) Thank you.
