Juvenile Fiction’

What genre does this novel I’ve finished fall under?

I’ve just finished a novel and am preparing to send it to a lit agent. But I don’t know what genre of fiction it falls under. I know genres that it could fall under: young adult/juvenile, commercial, action/adventure, humor/satire…?
Here’s the story at the most basic level:

A teenage boy becomes a superhero in the modern world, facing problems that we see in the real world.
There are only 3 teen characters and the rest are adults (and one kid) that work in like, the CIA and the media, etc. There are several jokes in the story, some w/ a point and others just for fun.
I would like to aim for a broad audience, though.

Would you read a book about?

Just doing a simple survey. How many of you would take the time to read a non-fiction book that was about the juvenile antics of two best friends? The book ranges from grade school years through adult life. It basically lays out the different pranks, gags, and other jokes played on others and each other.

Good books for teens?

Am looking for really good books. I loved the thief lord and the Harry Potter series. PLEASE do not say the twilight series. I loved the misadventures of maude march. I like any cowboy stories. I like realistic fiction and historical fiction, and books about animals. Adventure books are good, drama is good, and fantasy is just okay.
Young adult or juvenile books.

Thanks.
Can you please include a summary?
Thanks.

Who here has read the left behind series?

I have, even though I am an atheist, I read it to see what all the fuss was about. I did manage to slog through the entire series. What shocked me was the incredibly juvenile way those men wrote. It read as though it was put together by a fifth grader. In my opinion had it been written better and was more complex it could have been an interesting fiction series, as it was it was pretty pathetic, whats your opinion?
