Does anyone know any gay or lesbian fiction that is not in the genre of romance?
I really like murder mysteries and suspense but all the characters are straight. does anyone know of books where the gay orientation of the character is not a big deal and not based on a love story and is based on the character solving or being involved in a murder mystery/suspense

What are some good books for a teenage girl?
I’m not a fan of fantasy, science fiction, or mystery. I really like realistic fiction. Can anyone suggest to me what good novels to read?
I especially like mystery and suspense fiction by a good author. I am now reading Mary Higgins Clark and I can’t say much yet. I’ve just started a few chapters.
