Can I be successful writing poetry that encourages daily life situations. It allows people to share feelings?
I have a lot of love poetry and poetry about things we go through and what I’ve went through. I want to know if I published it would readers be interested.

I think the readers would be intrested because since you write poems similiar to life they might read it and say “Wow that look like my life!” Your poems also might compare to other people’s lives and can contrast too. People would want to know what’s going on with other poeples lives and would want to know how they put up with it. Hope that helps! =]

I’m not sure there is financial success in writing poetry these days. I mean to say, it’s hard to get popular recognition that may bring a positive cash flow.
Having said that, I do feel that some of the best stuff is real life based. When I write, it is usually from my world and it is amazing how often people find it very accessible.
I suppose finding the right venue to to get your writing in to, is the hardest part. Good luck.

All creative writing should be based on life experiences-it tends to make for better writing. Whether someone reads it or not depends on how well written it is. Don’t expect to make a living off it though… Good luck!

Hi!
You can definitely make money from all kinds of writing. The trick is to find inexpensive publishing outlets and market your work yourself.
I have used triond for everything from non-fiction articles to poetry. I have made money doing so. Online publishing is my favorite for many reasons. First, it’s less snooty than print publishing. Also, it offers free access of information to people who would otherwise not get to see my work. The more time I invest in promoting my work, the more money I make.
I follow an intructional on eHow. It’s about starting a triond account, submitting work, and marketing it.
It’s working for me.

Good luck!
