Can Google claim possession of any creative writing you put on Google Docs?
For instance, if you were to write a novel, poem, song lyrics or any other creative or technical writing, can they claim it as their intellectual property? Please provide a resource for your answer.

This would probably be stated in there terms of service agreement.
However, I don’t believe Google would do that, and from my loose understanding of copyright laws, anything you’ve created is your property no matter where you put it.
