Anyone know of a good Romance/fiction book for Young Adults?
I’m in a book slump and need some help. I generally like books where there is a strong female, not the whole damsel in distress kind of girl. Any suggestions?

If you’re a mature reader, try Nicholas Sparks books.
Here’s some short descriptions of some romance books for teens:
Check the rest of the site for more YA books, listed by genre.

I know everyone is talking about this, but Twilight is really the right book for you. It is romantic, fictional, and for young adults.

Summer Sisters by Judy Blume is my absolute favourite- I hate reading and i’ve read it 3 times!
Strong Characters and a beautiful, sad, happy etc story. I think i first read it when I was about 13 but read it again last year and I am now 21 :).
Hope that helps!

3rd- Blood Witch
4th- Dark Magick
5th- Awakening
6th- Spellbound
7th- The Calling

Morgan has never been someone people noticed, until an exciting new senior, Cal, enrolls in her high school. Cal reveals that he and his mother are Wiccans (witches), and Morgan, who seems unusually sensitive to natural energies and adept at “magick,” becomes the focus of his attention. Could she be a blood witch, a member of one of the Seven Great Clans? This is largely an unexceptional high-school romance (first in a series) that spends inordinate amounts of time describing what the well-dressed teenage witch is wearing this season.

Summary

Bianca will risk anything to be with Lucas, but dark secrets are fated to tear them apart . . . and to make Bianca question everything she’s ever believed.
Vampire Kisses Series by Ellen Schreiber(Romance and the female character is real strong hahaha)
1st-Vampire Kisses
2nd-Kissing Coffins
3rd-Vampireville
4th-Dance With A Vampire
5th- Coffin Club
Here is a summery of first one
Raven, 16, doesn’t fit in at school or home. This goth-girl is obsessed with vampires and when a new family moves into the old town mansion, she is convinced that the son, Alexander, is a vampire. The story swirls around and through sibling rivalry, peer relationships, friendships, and love. Raven is a feisty protagonist with a quick wit and a real sense of self. She defends herself and her friends, often besting her peers with humor and a quick tongue. As her connection with Alexander deepens, she comes to understand her family better. It is through his shadowy character that readers are kept off balance.
There is also a graphic novel version of this series its pretty cute as well =]

As the consequences of her anger become more dramatic, her parents send her to spend the summer with her aunt on a Nevada ranch. There she finds the love and acceptance she craves, both from her aunt and from a college-age neighbor, Ethan.

Do you mean ROMANCE romance? Like, intensely? Cause I’m in a fine of “The Wife Test: by Batina Kahn or “Dead Until Dark” by Charlaine Harris.
If you’re not looking for x-rated romances, try Jane Austen, Jane Eyre, or Edith Wharton. They’re the best.

Try Dragonfly by Julia Golding, here’s the synopsis:
Princess Taoshira is appalled when she is ordered to marry Prince Ramil ac Burinholt in order to unite their lands. And Ramil’s not too pleased either. They hate each other on sight.
So when she and Ramil are kidnapped, they fear there’s no escape - either from their kidnappers or from each other.
Can they put aside their differences long enough to survive ambush, unarmed combat, brainwashing and imprisonment? And will the people they meet on their extraordinary adventure - including a circus strongman, a daring rebel leader, a sinister master of spies and the best female fighter they have ever seen - help them or betray them to the enemy..?
so yeah its also got a fairly complicated plot, it depends on whether you like that kind of book (personally I love it but I know its not for everyone)
