<description>I am not 12 - 15, ****? I did it for the first ***?me last year and won. It was great.

Nanowrimo is a worldwide group of novelists - both amateur and professional who spend the month of November attempting to write 50 thousand words. Many areas like mine have groups. We have a kickoff party and meet once or twice a week to write in a local coffee place that is WiFi or sometimes in ****?kstores or libraries. The group also has a forum where you can post questions, requests for help, encouragement etc.

Naturally, 50K words doesn&#039;t have to be the complete ****?k. In my case, it wasn&#039;t. I turned mine in 10 days early with 65K words done. Even that wasn&#039;t the complete ****?k and I am working on finishing it up now that the holidays are past and I am getting over my holiday injury thing.

Several Nanowrimo novels have been published. Just go to their site and register. You can hook up with other ***?ople in your area and form a group. You can make some great writing buddies that way.

Even though I am now a very busy ghostwriter in addition to being a novelist, I intend to participate again this year. I think it is great that kids participate. It doesn&#039;t have to be Gone With the Wind. In ***?ct, they tell you that writing at ****?h a breakneck speed, a lot of what you write will be crap and have to be fixed later on. ****? the point is to start learning to discipline yourself ***? a writer. Nanowrimo charts your progress and you can quickly get into the habit of writing every day and meeting daily goals.

A lot of ***?ople share their work, ****? in the event you intend to try for publication and don&#039;t ****?t ***?ople to read it, you can scramble your submission. I did.

Give it a shot. It is a great program. And by the way, if you can afford to make a small donation to them - please do. Nanowrimo always runs close to broke. It is very expensive to host the site and keep the program running.

Look for us in November!!
