Any good ideas for a plot?
Next month is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I am hopelessly without a plot. Usually I have some sort of idea laid out, but this year I can’t think of anything interesting.
My genre: Fiction/Fantasy/Sci-Fi
Any suggestions?

opens in a sort of open field…lone girl standing, looking lost, wondering what this world is about. walks for miles, and runs into this handsome guy who helps her to his place. there, he asks where shes from and finds out that she says shes from somewhere “beyond”. he then thinks shes crazy, but chooses to overlook it and teach her about earth (set in whatever time period u want)
later, he realizes that shes not crazy, that she WAS from beyond (either space, heaven, dimension, its up to u) but hes falling in love with her, and doesnt want her to leave
at the end, he helps her to get there, but confesses his feelings to her. (its up to u whether she stays with him in earth, leaves and takes him with her, or leaves and says she dont feel that way)
u could change the whole love thing to a friendship thing. im just a hopeless romantic, and every story i create features a love thing. but hope that helps…tried to do sci fi…i never did it before =D
