Another case of writers block?
For English I have
to write 5 haiku’s. One about
nature, hero, teacher
and 2 choice. So far
I’ve written 2, one on
nature and hero.
But I have trouble
writing haiku’s. They’re not
my favourite kinda
Poetry. I’m looking
for an idea, a line,
or inspiration.
I have writers block.
Which isn’t fun. Thanks in
advance!

LOoks like from the details , you are already getting the hang of it. Strictly speaking a haiku has 5 syllables, 7 syllables, and the last line another 5 syllables. For a grand total of 17 syllables. This is a foreign concept and let’s face it, it probably works better Japanese poems than for English. I think in English poetry good light verse works better.

Those are just a few opening lines you could use, just to get the creative juices going.

you could write about anything that comes to your mind. if you are thinking about the toilet then write about it or a lolipop or pizza or a fight you had a long time ago with your bf or gf

Well since you already have a head start that is good. For your teacher poem thinking about your ideal teacher or a teacher you have had who was inspirational in a way. Once you think about stuff like that it should help. Hope it helps.
