Animal fiction/adventure?
Hello, I’d like to know some animal fiction/adventure titles, especially some where the animals talk. I’ve enjoyed Guardians of Ga’hoole and Warriors, so something in the genre and style of those two would be great. Thanks.

Try Brian Jacque’s Redwall series. Very good. Right up everyone’s alley who enjoys fantasy and talking animals. Or Alan Dean Foster’s Spellsinger series. Enjoy!!!

Arrows of the Queen trilogy by Mercedes Lackey
This series has every manner of magical/talking creatures, the most common being white horses who talk into their riders minds, and are as/more intelligent as a human. This first set is about a young girl who lives a miserable life and dreams and reads about becoming a ‘herald’ riding the famous white horses. She really has no idea what it takes to become one, until one fateful day when her misery is at its peak, she is chosen.
The other books before and after this trilogy have gryphon, changewolves, birds of prey, and many other animals that talk either mind to mind,,,or out loud with human intelligence.
