<description>In the very first book claire came that was obviously important.
-Claire is coming to live with them
-Massie pretends to like her
-Rips claire to peices a couple chapters later
-Claire meets layne
-Massie wants to be friends with layne to be close to laynes brother
-Claire goes onto Massies IM and tells everyone that she wants to be friends with Claire
-Everyone turns against Massie
-Massie figures out what happened and everything goes back to normal
-Claire goes back to being best friends with layne and gives up on the Clique

I know its missing one but those should give you some to figure out other things that could be important.

Also if you look up &quot;summery of the Clique Novel by Lisi Harrison&quot; it should come up with more ideas

other nonfiction books:

a Thousand Splendid Suns by: Khaled Hosseini
The novel opens with the introduction of Mariam, an Afghan girl growing up in a small village on the outskirts of Herat. She lives with her mother, Nana, an embittered woman who is frequently resentful towards her daughter whom she bore out of wedlock. Mariam busies herself with lessons in reading and writing from Mullah Faizullah, an elderly kind-hearted cleric, and weekly visits from her wealthy father, Jalil. Mariam has heard of her father&#039;s other wives and children, who live with him at his lavish home in Herat, but has never visited them due to the stigma of her being an illegitimate child.

On her fifteenth birthday in 1974, Mariam wants her father to take her to see Pinocchio at the movie theatre that he owns. When Jalil fails to show up, Mariam decides to travel to Herat for the first time in her life and go to her father&#039;s house in person. Jalil refuses to see her, and she ends up sleeping outdoors on the porch.

In the morning, Mariam returns home to find that her mother has hanged herself out of fear that her daughter has deserted her.

Nickel and Dimed By; Barbara Ehrenreich

Barbara Ehrenreich’s non-fiction bestseller, Nickel and Dimed, is the story of an essay writer who went undercover as a low wage worker to find out how non-skilled workers make ends meet. The experiment took place in Florida, Maine, and Minnesota, with the author finding a job and lodgings in each location. The experiment was held for one month in each location, working full time and living only off the amount of money earned in low-wage jobs. The goal was to determine whether or not the author could both live off the money earned and have enough money at the end of the month to pay the next month’s rent.
