Question #1:How much canned cat food is equivalent to 1/4 level cup grain free dry?I am feeding each of my 2 adult cats just under 1/4c dry food twice daily each (Acana, Orijen or other grain free brands). I also give them each a little soft food daily. My female always has some dry kibble left over. My female is 8-9 lbs, my male is 15 lbs and could stand to lose 1.5 lbs or so. I want to start feeding half dry and half wet daily.How much canned food (Wellness) is equivalent to 1/4c dry??? (Please don't tell me to follow guidelines on back, because they always say to feed more than the animal ever needs.) Question #2:I am going to get a cat soon! Any ideas of what kind of breed I should get?I want a cat that is playful and loves people. I already know that siamese cats fit this description perfectly, but siamese are expensive. What other breeds do you recommend?Question #3:I'm terrified my cat will die soon because he is sick please help?my cat is half a year old i would say and i think he is sick i can't afford to take him to a vet so please don't say i need to take him to one. he is an outdoor cat and he's loosing weight... lots and i'm not really scared of that part. he is colder then normal (yes it's winter) but i know how my cats fur should feel. i usually pet him and play with him and his toys tons he's getting enough activity. his eyes are red and half of his pupil is to the side of his eye hole and his eye is bleeding and has a little hole in it. theres tons of cats in my neighborhood and i own tons of cats so i think he got into a fight. I'm scared he has something wrong because he is sniffing and cuddling more and following me all over the yard and into my house and when i walk down the street he follows... he always has but now more then ever. and his mother is being mean to him now and his brother has diapered somewhere now and none of the other cats are being nice or there for him like normal i think they are scared of him and when he tries to follow and cuddle his mom like normal she paws at his face and skatts away and i'm so sacred and i'm crying... i'm only of a young age... and this is my favorite pet now and before... and i have had tons i need you all to help me please!!!!!!!!! i'm begging!Question #4:Name that childrens television show?So there was a childrens show that i used to love when i was a kid but i can't remember the name for the life of me xD. And no one i know seems to remember it either, maybe i was hallucinating or making up memories idk, but tell me if you know what im talking about. It's about a group of cats who live in a royal palace of an emperor, i think its a chinese emperor, but thats pretty much all i remember. I didnt draw blood but the line was red and stuff. I wasnt depressed or anything, my hormones have been outta wack lately. i think it mite scar. It looks like a cat got me pretty roughly.do you think I might cut myself again? Cuz sometimes, 1 cut leads to millions more. I don't think I will but idk!! im too young to be doing this! im scared... Question #6:My 8 month old kitten......is she pregnant?She is sleeping much more than normal, she has got thick round her middle but I havent noticed her come into heat and she has very little change to her nipples. She's not so fond of being picked up anymore but she is rubbing herself on furniture and is more friendly than she was, can a cat be mated before a heat is noticed and should i take her to the vets to see if they can confirm it?When i first went to get her spayed she was to small and the vet suggested we wait til she was a bit bigger, I was then due to get her spayed and fell ill so was unable to make the appointment, as for allowing her to be with full males i did not, although i do admit that one of my children let her out 'because she wanted to' and before you jump down my throat he is only 2 1/2yrs old and has no concept of what he was doing! She is due to go to the vets next week, i was just asking a question and rather than abuse a sensible informed answer would have been better recieved, i am not stupid and i know that i have made a mistake. Is it possible that a cat could go into a silent heat with out showing any signs.. like moewing and rolling,, or leg movements??? Or do cats always show that they are in heat???Question #8:An "associate" told me she meet the love of her life when she called "911"..does anyone else consider this odd?I refuse to call her a friend because the men she "hooks" up with are always a "hot mess". She doesn't know anything about this guy but she thought he was a "hero" when she called "911" one evening when she thought someone was walking around on her front porch (he kept her calm until police came and found a "cat" out there).Question #9:What are the chances that this cat got a home?One of my friends family had to get rid of their cat, because it had a problem with it's eyes. There was so much funk the eye's were permanently shut. the family took the cat to the vet well over 5 time's and the medications would work but then it would just come back. Her family could no longer afford it and had to take their cat to the shelter. This cat had the BIGGEST heart.. he was a black and white very VERY friendly boy.. I LOVED him. What are then chances it got a home? I couldn't tell you if it was a no-kill shelter or not because I don't know.. but this was about three years ago. Since it was such a friendly cat do you think there was a good chance he got a home?Yes 'adopts a shelters cat' it was a close friend whose family I am very close to.
