Question #1:

(sorry for writing a novel, please read.) AM I AN INDIGO CHILD?

I'm a Capricorn, born December 30th with a Sagittarius moon. I believe I am, I just need a little confirmation. My Mother also believes I am.

I do have every characteristic and trait of an Indido or Crystal child, minus ADD or ADHD and strong telepathy. I find that people stare at me often and someone has once told me that they feel as when they look into my eyes they feel I am staring right through them to their soul. I also have been stopped by a woman who I believe was a clairvoyant and she said that she saw an Indigo/Violet aura around me when I was leaving church. When me and my Mother walked into the leasing office of our apartment complex, a very religious lady, who we still are friends with today, stopped us and told us that she felt the Holy Ghost when I walked into the room. I'm also a vegetarian by choice, but everyone else around me eats meat. I could never eat an animal. I decided to be a vegetarian when I was about 8 years old and I've stuck to it with full-discipline since. I love to eat healthy and I drink lots of water. I do like some fast food but I don't need it so I don't eat it. I eat organic things. Adults have said I'm very mature for my age. I pick up on people's emotions and am effected by them. It could be anyone. If they are sad I feel myself become their current emotion, though I am very good at remaining happy, positive and in a good mood afterwards and generally. I don't have many friends and actually prefer being alone, and sometimes I feel as I'm years older than what I actually am. It was said that I was a warrior in my past life. I have deja-vu almost everyday and sometimes I feel like other dimensions are around us, in the same area as us, but we cannot see them. Even though there are people for me to be friends with, I have no desire to be around anyone who isn't of my kind or who misunderstands me, so I'm by myself or with my Mother a lot. I'm an actress, model and dancer, and I've been told that I have that "star quality" or "ooze" of a natural performer. Numerous times, after conversing with me or even looking at me, people have asked me if I was a model or actress, without any sort of clue that I already am. People stare at me a lot and even though I should be used to it because it's so frequent, I really wonder why they do. I feel like I was put on this Earth to be nothing more than a performer and to change the world and to give the gift God gave me back to others. I didn't choose to dance or sing or to have a beauty to be able to model, God chose this for me, so I feel as I have a mission to give back with my talents. I don't see myself doing anything else or living a normal, average life. I'm home-schooled and love it a lot. I sort of already get the feeling of what I was put on this planet to do, and I have a tunnel vision for that. I refuse to live the normal life of just eating, sleeping, doing home-work, going to school and repeating. I've seen so many shooting stars lately... I really want to change the world and have an impact on human beings, influencing them to spread the and be better people. I'd choose just to disagree with certain things rather than be against it because I believe the more you put energy into being "anti" whatever, the more energy you give it, manifesting it more. I'm highly interested in the stars and find myself staring up at them, feeling as I should be one of them or way previously one of them; and not in a celebrity-famous way, in an actual Universal way. I feel so connected to them sometimes. I feel very royal and almost like a queen, and in a way I carry myself that way but not in a conceited or stuck-up way, but in a honorable way. I am obsessed with astrology, astronomy and performing. I feel most comfortable on stage and most happy on stage. I love colors and everyone says that I am beyond creative and they wonder how I pull off certain things. I take what I wear anywhere very seriously and I feel like my display to people is very important. I love fashion and clothes and shoes and am VERY knowledge in fashion designers and labels. I won't leave the house unless I'm wearing something adorable that makes me happy. Sometimes I feel so disconnected from the world. It's sort of hard for me to make friends, even though I'm nice, out-going and funny with some people, sometimes I can be very quite and an introvert because I feel like no one will understand me. Even though there are people for me to hang out with sometimes I'd rather be alone at home. I seek to help people. I want peace for our world so badly. I feel like if this isn't achieved than it's in a way my fault. Sometimes I feel so alone and like there is no one else out there like me and that I'll never find someone out there like me to be friends with. Any other Indigos, Rainbows or Crystal children who feel the same? Sorry for the long question, BTW, the words just sort of came and I figured I'd just let them all out.

Also, to add on to all of this, I'm also a Luci
For some reason it cut off my last part... but I wrote:
"To add on this I'm also a Lucid dreamer (I know when I'm in a dream.) And I also have frequent sleep paralysis.
Sadie, you didn't have to answer if you didn't like the question. Act like an adult and IGNORE. No one asked for your input. I am over myself. I stated that I wasn't at all conceited. I make sure I am humble. I was just asking for confirmation from someone who was knowledge about these beings, not someone like you who doesn't know a thing. It's people like YOU who are ruining our world. Close minded, ignorant and hateful people like you who don't open their arms to anything. You need prayer. I hope you master being a open-minded person, because you won't get anywhere judging from your irrelevant answer to my question. If you don't like it, DON'T READ IT. Especially since it's long. Jesus.
Sadie, my point is, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. You obviously don't understand what Indigo, Crystal and Rainbow children are. That beings said, don't bother answering the question! It isn't your interest. If you don't understand how everything works of course you'll think that Indigos are just "average" or whatever because you are obviously close-minded. And I won't get caught up in my "specialness." Thank you very much.
I was seeking for anyone to tell me how special I am. I was just being honest. I was hoping for someone to come along who was an Indigo themself. No one is average. Everyone is special in their own way. You still failed to prove that you are not being close-minded. If you hate my question IGNORE IT. Bad mood or not. At the end of the day, you're wasting YOUR time answering it. You could've just moved on and not did anything. You don't understand this because you are not one of them.
wasn't**

Question #2:

Calling all creative people?

I need a headline for a story i am writing about for my school newspaper. basically the main topic is:
"Guitar Club"
I need an awesome, eye catching headline for it. Any ideas are appreciated!! thank you!! :)
It can really be any title... as long as it sounds cool and makes people want to read more about it. and of coures it has to relate to a guitar club, or maybe rock music in general if you would like :)

Question #3:

I was never a bookworm, now I feel I'm irreparably behind in cultural knowledge! Can I catch up?

If anyone wants to join the media industry or submit writing to blogs, magazines, and get a name out there as a creative writer, she needs vast cultural knowledge and mastery of the English language. But, although I was an AP English student throughout high school, and people typically commend the essays I do spend time and effort on, I know that I am leagues behind everyone else because I never read books on my own time. Bookworms who read 5 books a week are better writers. I only read assigned materials. I also find that my ability to articulate myself and write dramatically and noticeably improves after reading prose.

Is it possible to catch up? How many books, or what books, must I read, to be considered a well-founded writer?
@do-not-click-on-photo and @humanpix: Thank you for the useful, relevant responses.

Question #4:

Best way to achieve your dreams of working in the film industry?

Alright, a bit of a back story, I've always wanted to be an actor, writer, creative person in general. However right out of high school, I decided to get married have lots of children and get a load of responsibilities. I've currently written one screenplay that's finished and registered with wga and have a ton of other synopsis that are written out and two other scripts in the mid way points.

I've created a youtube site with some funny skits here,

www.youtube.com/findyurstar

I write all the skits and act in them but having all the responsibilities I have I'm finding it hard to devote the appropriate amount of time needed for success. I know if I want it badly enough I'll find time and all that but it does get incredibly hard, I guess that's why only a select few make it into the business.

Any pointers or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

I have a project as a midterm. My teacher assigned it today and it is due tomorrow. We have to "write" a biography on our favorite "organism". I chose Jellyfish. When she means write, we can do anything creative that gives info about the animal, it's not an essay or report) We have to do research and planning it out tonight(I already have info, and I am a pretty good artist so I can draw), and tomorrow, finish it in school and hand it in. It's not difficult, but I don't know how I can present it. My teacher said we can do a poster, pamphlet, or diorama, anything we want! But I don't want to do that since everyone in the class is probably going to do the same, and I want mine to be different. So do you have an idea I can present my visual project? Question #10:

What is your opinion on taking a college course that will not count towards your major?

I am currently an Early Childhood Education major at a local community college. However, last year I was an English Literature major with the intentions of transferring schools to major in English with a concentration in Creative Writing.

Writing has ALWAYS been a passion of mine, and I would love to continue towards a major in Creative Writing, but it's not as practical of a major as Early Childhood Education.

This upcoming semester, I want to take a few classes towards my major (Speech Fundamentals, Early Child Development, and Children's Literature [online]). When I was looking for a fourth class, I came across another online course that I would love to take: Creative Writing (along with Advanced Creative Writing the following semester).

However, Creative Writing does NOT apply towards my current major. I am interested in pursuing a double major after I earn my associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, but I'm not 100% sure about that yet.

What do you think?

Question #11:

My husband and I need an inexpensive hobby...Any suggestions?

We're both in our 20's, and are saving up to buy a house, and go on a late honeymoon to Ireland. Since this is an in between time in our lives (we're moving out of state in the fall for his graduate school), we haven't really be able to do much and don't have the money to. We'd really like to start doing an activity together that will get us out of the house but still spending time together.
He likes sports, but due to my flat feet, anemia, and fainting spells, that's not something I can do with him.
I, on the other hand, like cooking, and writing/reading, as well as anything on the more creative side.
We're both pretty open to anything (as long as it isn't too active, due to my problems) that doesn't cost much, if any, money. I'm not sure if any of this helps, but if anyone has suggestions they would be very much appreciated!
We also both love anime and video games, if that helps!

Question #12:

Native American Diary!!!?

I have to write a native american diary for a school project. I am supposed to make a creative cover for my diary and i have no idea how to go about doing that. My character is part of the chinook tribe and it takes place in 1860. any advice??

Question #13:

Can you review my book concept? (Sci-fi with focus on human emotions)?

I used to make video games and this was one, however, it got rejected from some flash sponsors for involving suicide. I decided to write the story as a book instead. I am just starting.

I'm only 15 and barely read and write, so I might not be the most creative person... But I try! :D

---
A peaceful and idealist alien race comes down and oppresses humanity to try and get them to "calm their emotions." People including two protagonists (Glenn and Jonathan) escape with the help of an outside society. A group of rebels is forming in great strides but due to the harsh conditions the aliens placed on them, they arn't nescessarily rational. They raid the aliens to discover they worship a god and they try to maintain as much peace as possible. The humans get a slight emotional lapse (Very complicated) and decide to attack the aliens. They go through the city, slaughtering them all, but the aliens do not defend themselves. At the top of their governmental buildings a priest finally reveals their only intention was to aid the humans in sealing their emotions (Accomplished with PURE peace, without hatred, racism, ect) , which they did. Without anger, bravery, or selfishness they could not defend themselves and also failed to comprehend barbaric violence. However the peace is now disrupted as the aliens including the priest commit suicide and start going insane. The remaining aliens leave and it is hinted that they will destroy themselves through civil war.

The protagonists and resistance move to jerusalem for symbolic purposes, because it's the heart of human religious culture, and it's a place where selfishness was at it's peak, being conquered/reconquered over 20 times in history. They create a society emulating the aliens. The book ends with a kid (8 year old) being bullied at school, but not defending himself in anger. The teacher intervenes and takes him to somewhere unknown. The end.
---

Characters: (All protagonists, the focus shifts between them)

Glenn: Once a calm child after being detained he wallowed in misery and hatred and became a savage killing machine once he escaped. The leader of the alien massacre.

Jonathan: A placid teenager who decides that pacifism is the best way to resolve conflict however is stopped several times by the savages.

Miguel: A physicist that lived away from society when the aliens invaded, he organized the human rebellion against alien control. He has problems controlling the humans and reasoning between Glenn and Jonathan.

Please tell me if it at least sounds like a decent concept, I'm stressed out!

Question #14:

I already have a BA, but I want to study photography at the Tisch School of the Arts.?

I'm double majoring in political science and creative writing at Florida State University and will be graduating soon. But what I really want to do is study photography at the Tisch School of Arts at NYU. I have a portfolio to submit, but what are my academic requirements? The website isn't really clear about someone in my situation.

Question #15:

Careers for an English major? And what should I minor in?

I'm a junior in high school and I've decided that I want to be an English major, but I have no idea what to do with it.
I've been told that I'm very skilled with using my words for persuasion. I love creative writing, I'm good at drawing (illustrations), and I'm a grammar freak.
My downfall is that I am not AT ALL a public speaker. I also don't want to become a school teacher.
I also want to write to change the world, as cliche as it sounds. I'm passionate about animals and human rights.

Judging from this:
1. What careers should I look in to?
2. What would be a useful minor?
3. What classes should I try to take in high school?

Thank you to anyone who bothers to read this!
I forgot to add that I love photography.

Question #16:

What should I major in? Urgent -- please help?

Well I'm a junior in high school and I'm feeling the stress of not knowing what to major in.
I love writing, and I'm good at it. And I'm creative, and very organized.
I was considering journalism but I don't want to deal with the politics/current events atmosphere the job entails.
I was thinking public relations possibly, however, what does one major in to be successful in this field?
Also, any other possible majors for me? Thank you so, so much! (:
Thanks - I was considering an English major because I could always do teaching as a fall back.

But Mass Comm./Media Studies was another consideration...but you seem so against it. Why?

Question #17:

Question regarding Seattle University?

Hey there, I attended a college fair today helping me decide which college I will be attending in about two years or so and I am curious about Seattle Univeristy...
I receieved a brochure with a few information about it and it sounds pretty good other than the fact that it's a Jesuit sort of school with religion which is not really my thing although I'm supposedly a Roman Catholic. Anyways, do you guys have any information or experiences you would like to share to me about this school or Seattle in general? Is it a cool place to reside and attend school? What's the weather like up there and the people? I live in Hawai'i so I am not used to the mainland atmosphere. I am interested in majoring in either psychology, or literature (creative writing) also...would any of you guys happen to know any good universities possibly on the far east coast such as New York or Miami or far west coast such as California or Washington that are known for majoring in those areas? If so, please let me know! All your answers and opinions are dearly respected :)!
Thanks a bunch and mahalo nui loa!

Question #20:

Can you determine the writer's skills?

I wrote an autobiography.....

1) What is the age of the writer?

2) Is his English first or second language.

3) How much will you rate this autobiography out of 100% (honestly)?

Thank you so much :)

The world is such a huge place and everyday science and education are increasing. Every single person can learn and educate himself by his own way but before that people must value themselves and learn about their own capacity. Therefore I am going to write about my past experience and how did it influenced me, my environment and my life of becoming who I am.

Every person lived his childhood life remembering the old days that everyone wish to return to, every child has his own hero to dream about and my childhood hero was my uncle. The reason I mentioned my uncle because he was generous and kind, he is always there when I need help, he usually buys me gifts in my birthdays and surprises me with his jokes and sense of hummer, I always wanted to be like him. In my childhood life my uncle taught me how to think positively in life. Now, as a case in point, let’s pretend that I have failed an exam for three times, there is no need to be frustrated because I know that I have discovered three ways of failure. This kind of experience helped me and my family as well to keep going forward and never give up. People can learn from their childhood life a lot of things that they could never image how it can be useful in their future life.

Everyone has a goal and that goal is a dream and no one can convert that dream to reality till he or she breaks the weakness barrier and increases his or her strength, furthermore he or she must think critically, solve problems, use creative thinking skills and finally set goals, this way people can have the chance to reach what they dream about. I have weaknesses and strengths as everyone else. However my strengths are better because I think positively, that will help me to avoid problems, I am motivated and dedicated enough that I know exactly what I want to study and learn about. This definitely will help me in choosing my major, my career, the right place to work. Whereas my biggest weakness is the fear of lack of experience in any kind of field because no one can interact with me, furthermore I will not be able face hardships. People should not be upset about there weakness because no one is perfect and I am not perfect.

University and college is my second life in fact it’s my everyday life. Therefore I have chosen this university because it fits my goal and dreams which is to work in any field related to computer such as (networking, programming, website design…etc) that is because I enjoy learning about computer and how to use it to make my life easier. Moreover, I believe that my college fit my goals because it teaches me how to be motivated, dedicated, creative, communicative and many other things that will help not just in my major but my social life. Choosing the right path is a way of a huge success in school and life.

On the whole, everyone would like to be special and I do want to be special, what is important to know is being myself and not pretending to be someone else is the best way to represent myself because that is who I am and it’s my personality. After all I am a normal man with normal problems.
By judging the age please refer to it as the writer's skills (not mentioning that i am a college student)
